 •   Round trip by bus (route Hki-Tampere-Jyväskylä-Oulu- Rovaniemi-Inari)   

 •   Accommodation four nights in cabins or apartments 

 •   Reindeer farm visit + a reindeer safari

PRELIMINARY ITINERARY

DAY 1 – BUS DEPARTURE

Departure at 9 PM from Helsinki, 11.30 PM from  Tampere,

1.30 AM from Jyväskylä, 6.30 AM from Oulu. Overnight bus drive. 

DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN LAPLAND

Arrival in Kemi at 8 AM. Shopping and breakfast in mall area. 

Visiting the Kemi Snow Castle.

Departure to Rovaniemi, visiting the Santa Claus village.

Arrival in Vasatokka at 8-9 PM. Lodging in cabins, sauna & swimming! 

DAY 3 – SURVIVAL COURSE PART I - SKIING AND REINDEERS 

Survival course. Introduction to the theory. A cross country skiing course. Building guinzees of snow.

Afterwards visiting a reindeer farm  hosted by Saami people. Sauna in the evening. 

DAY 4 – SURVIVAL COURSE PART II - SNOWSHOES AND ICE-FISHING

Snow shoe orienteering in the woods with the help of compass and maps. Ice fishing and cooking on open fire. Sauna.... 

DAY 5 – TOUR OF THE ARCTIC OCEAN

A bus excursion to the Arctic sea in Norway. On the way you will see beutiful nature, fjords and mountains.

We make a stop in a fishermen village Bugoynes, where there’s a marvelous beach.

Have a swim in the Arctic ocean with sauna. Program includes a warm lunch.   

DAY 6 – DEPARTURE & SKI RESORT

Check-out. Bus departure to Saariselkä. Possibility for following activities -

husky safari, snow mobile safari, downhill skiing , SPA, ice-karting.

Departure at 6 PM.  

DAY 7 – ARRIVAL HOME

Arrival in Oulu at 00.00, Jyväskylä at 07.00,Tampere at 09.00, Helsinki at 11.00 AM.
