ITINERARY (SAARISELKÄ)

DAY 1 – DEPARTURE

Departure to Lapland from Helsinki rw-station square at 8 PM, Tampere 10.30 PM, Jyväskylä 00.30 AM, Oulu 06.00 AM  

DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN LAPLAND

Arrival in Rovaniemi at 8 AM. Visiting the Arktikum museum. Afterwars some shopping in local malls and visiting the Santa Claus VIllage. Cross the Arctic Circle, take pictures with Santa, send post cards from the Santa’s offical post office and have a lunch. Arrical in Saariselkä at 8 PM.

DAY 3 – THE  SPORTS DAY

Sports day -a skiing trip + snow shoe safari. In the afternoon possibility for down hill skiing and evening in the SPA. 

DAY 4 – HUSKIES, SNOWMOBILES, ICE-KARTING

Optional activities - you can choose from huskies, snowmobiles, ice-karting and down hill skiing - or do them all. In the evening we are having a BBQ get-together party in a Lappish hut. 

DAY 5 – TOUR OF THE ARCTIC OCEAN (NORWAY)

A bus excursion to the top of the world. On the way stops on cultural sights. See beautiful Arctic sceneries, mountains, fjords -and swim in the Arctic ocean. Program includes lunch. Farewell party in Saariselkä club when back.   

DAY 6  – REINDEER FARM AND DEPARTURE

Check-out by 12.00. Visiting the local reindeer farm and reindeer safari. Free time in the resort until 17.00. Departure for home journey

DAY 7  – ARRIVAL HOME

Arrival in Helsinki by 12.00.
